"It Appeared One Night, and Had Been Commissioned By the Story's Author, J.M. Barrie"

The quote above comes from a map in London's most famous garden, Kensington Gardens, which we found yesterday...accidentally. The quote describes the statue of Peter Pan and is a tourist favorite (and ours too : ).


The gardens themselves are tooooo lovely for words. Lets just put it this way, there were swans, a palace, an AMAZING MONUMENT, and the most adorable school children playing in the park. Oh, this palace...is where Queen Anne, Princess Diana, Princess Margaret, Queen Mary the 2nd, Queen Charlotte, Queen Victoria, and Princess Caroline lived, ate, walked, and danced. We did too! Except for the eating...and dancing...and, well, living. But we walked! Oh, and did I mention this is where Princess Diana commemorated her playground? Oh, but "you must have babies" to enter: (


After an exhausting 3-4hrs in the park, (a 3 hour nap, shhh!), we decided it was time for date night in London! Which consisted of two taxis, a haunted theater built in the 1920s, a "salt" popcorn and two cokes, and Robin Hood (which we felt was ok...we prefer Men in Tights, the movie, hrrumph).

Well, my dears, we have just faced a conundrum...and we feel we are the victors. It turns out that we WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE THE EUROSTAR TO PARIS (600 pounds = 1200 dollars...yikes) because of lack of funds. We will be taking a 9 HOUR BUS RIDE(110 pounds = 220 dollars..yikes, but better) both ways!!! But it's worth it right...RIGHT!?

We love and miss you all...you have no idea. Wish you were here! (sorta ;).

We enjoy being married. We enjoy it even better in England. Today's schedule? Breakfast at a grocery stand, taxi to the Tower of London, walk to London Eye, and tour of Tower Bridge. Followed by all night bus ride to PARIS FOR MY BIRTHDAY. YES MY BIRTHDAY IS TOMORROW...in case you forgot. :)
