Portobello Road Market

Today Jared and I decided to head to the Portobello Street Market. This famous market is in the part of London known as Notting Hill. It is exactly what you would imagine - beautiful fruit stands everywhere, antique stands, clothing stands, and jewelry stands. AND TONS OF PEOPLE- NOT KIDDING- LIKE A BAZILLION. The food stands are open all week long but it is only on Saturday that the rest of the stands make an appearance - and it was well worth the £4 pounds for the busride.

In this market we saw cute Dutch women in beautiful dresses, an old man with a cane and a jack russel sitting on his shoulder (pirate style) while he walked down the street, and a british boy duwop group, just to name a few of the interesting sites to behold.

And Jared finallllyyy bought me my wedding present - da da da duh!!!

A pair of beautiful cameo earrings dating back to the late Victorian Era. Aren't they lovely?

I wish we could've got more pictures - but this part of the city is notorious for pickpocketing, so Jared and I remained on alert.
